The Bluewave Inflatable Kayak Glider is a single-person kayak built for lakes, calm rivers and seaside paddling. It comes as a complete set with a four-piece paddle, raised seat, skeg fin, foam footrest, carry bag and two-way pump. Nothing extra to buy before you hit the water.
Construction uses triple layer PVC with reinforced drop-stitching. This gives the kayak exceptional rigidity once inflated, so it holds its shape well against waves and current. Three separate air chambers mean a puncture in one won't sink the whole kayak.
Inflation takes just 7 minutes using the included two-way speed pump, reaching 10 PSI. Deflated, it packs down to 56cm x 56cm x 30cm and weighs only 14.3kg. It supports paddlers and gear up to 225kg, suiting beginners through to intermediate paddlers.
The two-way speed pump included in the set inflates the kayak to 10 PSI in around 7 minutes. The pump pushes air in on both strokes, which speeds up the process compared to single-action pumps.
